America Unscripted

America Unscripted is an original BMG Web-based television series that takes a raw and unfiltered look at both local and national news. This informative hard-hitting show explores trending topics and what’s behind the issues that are dividing our nation and shares solutions.

Time For Change

Late last May, when George Floyd was killed and after the subsequent rioting and social unrest, the BMG production team went into action to cover the tragedy.  The final, compelling 2-hour documentary is replete with timely, hard-hitting interviews. The BMG team interviewed local police, including the Police Chief of the LAXPD and officer’s wives, store owners whose businesses were looted and young people who all shared profound insights regarding George Floyd’s death and the social impact. The landmark documentary explores the roots of racism in America and how we as a people and as a nation can be healed. Remembering Kobe Bryant

This emotionally stirring video was shot live on Sunday, February 26th, 2020 at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. It was the day that a tragic helicopter accident took the life of Kobe Bryant, a legendary basketball player, along with his daughter and other passengers. This timely segment captures the somber scene in Los Angeles and the on-site interviews reveal the global impact that Kobe Bryant had on the world. 

The Coronavirus Pandemic

In response to the rising Coronavirus death toll, the BMG production team produced an informative, well-researched news report regarding the national and global effect of the Pandemic. The intriguing, thought-provoking program also shares life-saving prevention tips based on information from the Center of Disease Control and local medical professionals.

Intelligence

At BMG, before we start any project we always start by asking the most important questions to get right. Who’s our target audience? What do they like? What do they want? What do they need? What’s the best way to reach them? You need to understand your audience on an emotional, psychological and intellectual level in order to rise above the noise and be heard.

Engagement

Uri Hasson, a Princeton University psychologist, conducted an in depth film study and found that films that use structured devices with shots, words and sounds that are carefully composed are most likely to control viewers’ brains. At BMG, we apply this structural strategy with each project which pushes the engagement and effectiveness meter from good to great.
