About Us

Daniel Borunda

Founder and Executive Producer of the Borunda Media Group, Daniel has been enamored with plays and films since childhood when he produced his first puppet show at eleven.

He has followed his childhood passion through his film and television production education at both Loyola Marymount University and was selected into UCLA’s coveted Masters of Fine Arts program and earned the highest grade possible for his documentary short-film “Hollenbeck Hero”. Like his impressive education, Daniel’s professional career has flourished. He sold his first screenplay to Columbia Pictures, “Welcome Home” and went on to write three more screenplays and co-produced two mini-series for television, “Count of Monte Cristo” and “William the Conqueror”. Daniel has also written two, produced Off-Broadway plays “Something about Joey” and a two-act adaptation of the best seller by Barbara Robinson, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”.

In addition to writing and producing a couple of independent films, in 2018, Daniel launched an innovative, news series “America Unscripted”.  The hard-hitting television series covers both national and global news and also deals with the issues that are dividing our nation and presents solutions.

Andre Holzendorf

The very talented and versatile, Andre Holzendorf directed the first pilot episode of BMG’s original “America Unscripted” series and the show’s sizzle reel. He’s currently involved as a Director on the BMG productions.

Andre created and helmed Digital Domain Media Groups’ Special Projects Department, where he produced and directed all video content for the studios website.  Utilizing their “viz efx” shots from such films as “Maleficent”, “Transformers” and “Ender’s Game”, Andre used his talents to recruit some of the best visual effect artists to DDMG.  He also directed EPKs and promotional featurettes for the animation division.

Andre continues to direct behind the scene short films, music videos as well as business and marketing videos. To date, he’s the proudest of his behind the scenes work on the Michael Jackson Hologram for Pulse Evolution and a beautifully shot 90 year retrospective for a major Saudi pharmaceutical company called The Tamer Group that raised investment funds for DDMG.  With Secret Service clearance, Andre shot a fundraiser video for the Carter Foundation to commemorate the $75,000 that was raised in honor of Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter, who were in attendance for this special event.  A video he directed, Stephanie Simon’s “Deep in My Mind”, was awarded PSA Music Video Award of the Year by the L.A. Music Video Awards.
